Stony Brook Southampton Hospital will offer free influenza vaccine shots Friday on a walk-in basis from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Parrish Hall at 235 Herrick Road in Southampton Village.
"Flu vaccines are one of the most effective ways to prevent contracting the virus," the hospital said in an announcement.
Patients must be 18 or older and have a photo ID to receive the vaccine.
