There will be a Pfizer vaccine clinic on Monday at East Hampton High School, administered by Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, for students of the school district who are ages 12 and up.
Appointments are necessary for the clinic, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As of Tuesday night, there were approximately 20 slots left. Registration can be done online at this link.
Second doses will automatically be scheduled three weeks from Monday.
Twenty-five years on, the terrible events of that day remain seared into the memories of those who experienced it, whether up close in Manhattan or more than 100 miles away in East Hampton Town, on what was shaping up to be a perfect late-summer day.

On May 26, 1874, David H. Huntting (1815-1885) gave a historical address to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the First Presbyterian Church of East Hampton’s Sunday school. Huntting was a logical choice as a speaker since he had strong connections to the school and the church.
