It's Almost Time for HarborFest

HarborFest, Sag Harbor Village's weekend-long celebration, begins on Friday, Sept. 10, with a party with live music by the Nancy Atlas Project from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Breakwater Yacht Club.

"Between/Time," a play in development by Dane Figueroa Edidi, a playwright and performance artist, will be read at 8 that night at Bay Street Theater.

Sept. 11 and 12 will be packed with attractions for adults and children, including an arts and crafts fair, a 5K run at Mashashimuet Park, whaleboat races, a petting zoo, food vendors, and live music. A full schedule is on the Chamber of Commerce's website.

Countdown to the Three Mile Harbor Fireworks

The Clamshell Foundation's Great Bonac Fireworks Show over Three Mile Harbor is scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday. Because of the increase in boat traffic expected, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has announced the closure of Three Mile Harbor to shellfishing starting at sunrise on Saturday.
