Fund-Raiser for Capt. Skip Rudolph

A fund-raiser for Capt. Skip Rudolph of the Montauk charter boat Adios, who is battling medical issues, will happen on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at La Fin restaurant, at 474 West Lake Drive at Montauk Harbor. 

The event will feature live music by Kathleen Fee, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Those who cannot attend can donate to a GoFundMe campaign through which friends are hoping to raise $20,000 to help support the Rudolph family. More than $11,000 had been raised as of Tuesday afternoon.

Marine Museum Shuttered During Renovation

The East Hampton Town Marine Museum on Bluff Road in Amagansett will be closed to the public through the summer as the town and the East Hampton Historical Society plan a comprehensive, multiyear renovation after a burst pipe damaged the building over the winter.
