Those looking for a Covid-safe dose of holiday cheer can join the Madoo Conservancy for a socially distanced "Santa stand" on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Merry Madoo’s Santa Stand will be selling the conservancy’s home-grown paperwhites, apple and orange pomanders with velvet ribbons, and boughs of fresh-cut greens from the garden for holiday decorating needs.

Madoo asks that those interested adhere to a drive-by only policy and wear masks. Hot cider will also be on offer.

The conservancy is still taking appointments by email for garden visits and tours of the exhibition "Robert Dash: Printmaker" in its summer studio.
