The East Hampton Lions Club will host a blood drive at the American Legion Hall in Amagansett on Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. The hall is on the corner of Montauk Highway and Abraham’s Path.
Typically, potential donors must meet certain criteria for age and weight in order to give blood. Donors must also be in generally good health and must not have donated within the last 56 days.

A splendid time was had by all when the East Hampton Town Trustees held their annual Largest Clam Contest on the grounds of the Amagansett Life-Saving and Coast Guard Station Museum last week.
The East Hampton Trails Preservation Society, in partnership with the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference, will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with outdoor activities in Montauk this weekend.
The annual Tyler Valcich Memorial Car Show and Cruise, a fund-raiser for the Tyler Project, happens on Sunday at the Amagansett Firehouse.
