Youth Ministry's Voter Registration Drive Is Saturday

The Young Adult Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton will hold a voter registration drive on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center.

Anyone who wants to vote in the upcoming general election is welcome to wear a mask and observe social distancing at 551 Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton in order to complete the registration process.

Once registered, Suffolk County voters may cast ballots at any of the early voting sites in East Hampton and Southampton during the nine days from Oct. 24 through Nov. 1, or during the general election on Nov. 3.

Those already registered to vote can also now apply for a ballot online by going to absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov.

Helicopter Traffic Took Off in 2026

Traffic to and from East Hampton Town Airport this past summer was up 8.3 percent over last year, the Wainscott C.A.C. was told Saturday, but “the big headline is helicopter traffic was up 26.9 percent versus 2025,” the developer of a flight tracking platform said.
