For those seeking to shop locally this holiday season, the Village True Value Hardware Store in East Hampton now has a special section of locally made products including honey and beeswax candles from Springs Apiary, coffee from Bridgehampton's Java Nation, and baked goods from South Fork Kitchen, a nonprofit that provides employment opportunities for people with special needs.

"We felt we could help local artisans and the local economy," said Bernard Kiembock, the owner.

He is hoping to showcase more products, he said, and encouraged other artisans to contact the store. Its phone number is 631-324-2456.
