Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski, who represents the Towns of Southold and Riverhead and parts of Brookhaven Town, has endorsed Legislator Bridget Fleming’s candidacy for the Democratic nomination to represent New York’s First Congressional District.

“Since being elected to the County Legislature, Bridget has shown time and time again she will work to make life better for the people of Suffolk County,” Mr. Krupski said in a statement issued by Ms. Fleming’s campaign. “From mitigation of groundwater contamination to nature-based coastal resiliency to the expansion of renewable energy jobs and resources, she has delivered on making our environment cleaner and healthier for the next generation, all while providing good-paying jobs today. Bridget is the best candidate to represent the interests of Long Island on Capitol Hill.”
