N.Y.S. Comptroller Endorses Ahearn in Senate Race

New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli has endorsed Laura Ahearn, the Democratic nominee for the First State Senate District.

"Throughout her career, Laura Ahearn has shown that she is committed to justice and protecting our most vulnerable as the founder of one of Long Island's most respected nonprofits," Mr. DiNapoli said in a statement issued by Ms. Ahearn's campaign. "I know that Laura will fight for every worker, senior, student, small business, and family. She has the skill, the tenacity, and the vision to provide results for Long Island."

"Comptroller DiNapoli is someone I have known for a long time," Ms. Ahearn said in the same statement. "Tom and I are committed to protecting the taxpayer at all costs and ensuring that our dollars are being spent wisely with oversight and transparency."
