The South Fork chapter of ReWild Long Island will celebrate its teenage participants in the 2026 summer program to fight hunger and climate change on Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Matthew’s Garden at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum.
This summer, students from East Hampton High School and New York City schools contributed to the restoration and protection of soils, shores, pollinators, and people through activities including growing pollinator and family-friendly gardens, harvesting organic produce for members of the community living with food insecurity, packing groceries at local food pantries, and food scrap collection, composting, and reducing residential waste.
