Kites at the Beach

Kites will soar above Main Beach on Saturday in a “fun-raiser” for the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center from 2 to 5 p.m.

Families are invited to buy kites ahead of time for $10 apiece, and there will be art supplies for kids to decorate them with. For a $100 donation, attendees can buy “limited edition, beyond spectacular, pre-decorated kites” made by kids at the center.

Volunteers from Compass Realty and East Hampton High School will be on hand to help out, and refreshments are being provided by East Hampton’s Stop and Shop. Parking is free at Main Beach during the event. More information and a link to buy kites can be found at ewecc.org.
