Nissa Larsen, a local gymnastics pro, is offering private one-hour lessons at home for $125 per child and $25 for each additional child. Perfect for getting out any pent-up quarantine energy, said Ms. Larsen, who wants kids to "get creative with exercise."
A former national and international competitor, Ms. Larsen is a firm believer in the role gymnastics can play in children's mental, physical, and social development. She has been privately teaching many of her former campers from various East Hampton summer camps, holding lessons outside until cold weather set in.
She now teaches inside her clients' homes, wearing a mask, and is being tested for Covid-19 regularly, she said.
