Baker House Honored

The Baker House 1650 in East Hampton Village received an award for excellence in service in an annual competition held by Condé Nast Johansens, a guide to luxury hotels. It was the sixth time the inn has received an award in the contest, said Antonella Bertello, the owner.

“We look forward to upholding this honor by providing excellent service for our guests this holiday season,” she said.

Springs Auto Reopens

Springs Auto Repair, which had been closed since Sept. 21 after a driver crashed into the back of the building and damaged a cinder-block wall, reopened earlier this month. The shop is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
