Prints at the Depot
“The Print Show,” featuring the print works of eight artists, opens Thursday at the Depot Gallery in Montauk and will continue through Sept. 7. A reception will take place on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Whether monoprints, limited-edition linoleum prints, woodcuts, embellished screen prints, or photographs, all have their unique subject matter, including abstraction, landscape, and social commentary. The exhibiting artists are Karyn Mannix, Setha Low, Cheryl Richer, Ted Shaine, Gerry Giliberti, A.G. Duggan, Andrea Sher, and Laurie Hall.
Photography and Painting
“Love What You See,” a show of work by Anastasia Simone and John Haubrich that explores the theme of self-acceptance, will open at HaubrichArt at 39 Isle of Wight Road in Springs with a reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. and remain on view by appointment through Sept. 25.
Simone’s cyanotypes are a 19th-century darkroom practice. Juxtaposed with modern color photography images, her work explores both how we inhabit our bodies and through what lens we see the world. Haubrich’s paintings and photographs visit the inner psychic space through layered texturing, form, and color, according to the artist. The work bridges the gap between external reality and the emotional landscape.

Call for Submissions
The Hamptons Juried Art Exhibition is an annual show held at ARC Fine Art in Amagansett, where this year it will open Oct. 30 and run through Nov. 28. Artists from the North and South Forks have been invited to submit artworks related to the exhibition’s theme: the energy of light. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 5. Artists can submit up to three artworks for consideration; the exhibition will feature one piece for each artist selected.
The jurors are Adrienne Ruger Conzelman, the founder of ARC Fine Art, Coco Myers, the founder of Folioeast, Fairfax Dorn, a co-founder of Ballroom Marfa, an art center in Marfa, Tex., and David Netto, an interior designer and writer.

Open Studio
Nishan Kazazian, an architect and artist, is offering to open his studio in East Hampton’s Northwest Woods by appointment for 30-minute guided tours and conversations with the artist. His work ranges from visionary architectural projects to plexiglass sculptures to virtual installations that combine digitally created sculptural elements with photographs of actual locations. What links all his work is receptivity to a variety of materials and technologies and a fascination with transparency, reflections, shadows, mutability, and sustainability.
