"Feast — A Still Life” opens Thursday at the Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons (WACH) in Bridgehampton with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. On view through Oct. 14, the exhibition features work by Andrea Alvin, Monica Banks, Nancy McIntyre, Shayna Leib, Edwina Lucas, Maryann Lucas, and Nadine Robbins.

“ ‘Feast — A Still Life’ reminds us that a feast can be as simple as looking at the goodies in a bakery store window or savoring a piece of candy,” Joi Jackson Perle, WACH’s associate director, said. “The quiet moments of joy that food brings are reasons enough to celebrate our daily bread in art.”

Spring Restaurant Week Is Coming

Long Island Restaurant Week will celebrate the arrival of spring with prix fixe menus at restaurants from Manhasset to East Hampton. The promotion will run from April 26 through May 3.
