In addition to the Soak Hides dreen, the land boasts another small stream and magnificent old oaks. Its ambience is park-like, its harbor views lovely, and it often attracts such fine creatures of the wild as egrets and great blue herons. Not the least of its attributes is that the land is rich in Native American artifacts, although there is evidence of considerable digging there over the years.
A hearing will be held on the purchase at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, and the price - under $27,000 an acre - sounds right. We say: "Go for it."
