The Montauk Seafood Festival will return for its seventh year under a tent at Gurney’s Star Island Resort and Marina on Sept. 7 and 8 from noon to 5 p.m. Local restaurants will offer tastings and there will be burgers and hot dogs, fresh local oysters and other seafood, beer from the Montauk Brewing Co., and wine from Copa vineyards.

The Three B’s and After Memphis will play music, and there will be activities and games for kids. Admission is $2, free for kids. Parking is also free.

The event is sponsored by the Montauk Friends of Erin and the Kiwanis Club. Proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots, Pediatric Trauma, the Montauk St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and scholarships. A full list of activities can be found online at montaukseafoodfestival.com.

Harborfest Is Coming

There will be an arts and crafts fair in Marine Park, a sidewalk sale on Main Street, food booths and activities ranging from whale boat races to a kids potato sack race at Long Wharf and Windmill Beach.
