Sunshine is in the weather forecast for Saturday, just in time for the annual Ladies Village Improvement Society fair. Always held on the last Saturday in July, 2019 marks the L.V.I.S.’s 123rd year putting on the fair. It happens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 95 Main Street in East Hampton Village.

The festivities include live music, a carousel, toys and vintage clothing for sale, vendors of food, flowers, and gifts, raffles, and a silent auction featuring hundreds of prizes.

“The fair has remained a major source of funding for the L.V.I.S. financial commitments in the East Hampton community,” an announcement from the group said. “These include the care and maintenance of trees, the Nature Trail, the village greens, scholarships for high school seniors, and preservation of local landmarks.”
