Tue, 10/08/2019 - 14:02
Tyler Valcich's friends remember him each year with a car show in his honor.

The annual Tyler Valcich Memorial Car Show happens on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amagansett Firehouse. The $10 admission and $25 vehicle registration fees benefit the Tyler Project, which promotes counseling, education services, lectures, and classroom programs for students and young adults to help predict and prevent crises young people face.

Mr. Valcich, a Montauk resident and a volunteer firefighter, died in 2014.

“Gears, grooves, and grease” will be offered, including live music, train rides, food trucks, and, of course, cars. Those interested in exhibiting a vehicle can register by emailing [email protected].
