The East Hampton Star, the town's official newspaper of record since 1885, is working on a plan to launch a Spanish-language news initiative in 2024. To do so, the team needs the community's help.

Beach Parking Permit Sale Is Tuesday

East Hampton Village beach parking permits, available for free to those who live or own property in the village, will be offered for sale to East Hampton Town residents who live or own outside of village boundaries on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., a week before they go on sale to the general public.

Community Dinners Return, in a New Venue

The East Hampton Fire Department's next free community dinner will take place on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 in the East Hampton High School cafeteria.

Parking will be in the main lot in front of the school; drop-off will be at the front door.

Additional community dinners will happen on Feb. 13 and March 6.
