A sibling restaurant of the Bell and Anchor and Beacon in Sag Harbor, Fresno concentrates on a relatively small menu, expert preparation, and top-notch service. Start off with calamari with siracha-lime aioli or the popular salmon tartare. As an entree, short ribs come with fettuccine, chilies, and Pecorino. Tilefish is roasted in a cazuela with bok choy, lemongrass, and rice noodles. You can eat at the bar, a friendly gathering place, or on a covered patio on warm nights. The main room is airy, with long banquettes on one side.
