Almond is in a charming building at the corner of Ocean Road in Bridgehampton and commands a loyal following. Jason Weiner is the co-owner and executive chef with Eric Lemonides and Antonio Rappazzo as his front-of-the-house partners. Jeremy Blutstein is the chef de cuisine. A seasonal, inventive menu includes escargot, house smoked bluefish, and steak frites, with dishes are far from routine. Macaroni and cheese? It might come with proscuitto and truffles. Vegetables are picked and sriracha made on site. Many, if not the majority, of ingredients are from farms and providers right down the road. There’s a “plat du jour” daily and a raw bar.
