Online Vacation Auction to Support I-Tri Programs

Let’s Go – A Benefit for I-Tri is auctioning off seven vacation packages in Costa Rica, Maine, and East Hampton to raise money for I-Tri programs. Accel Events

The first-ever online vacation auction to raise money for I-Tri is now live and will run through March 20.

Seven getaways are up for bid in Let’s Go – A Benefit for I-Tri. Proceeds will support the East Hampton program that promotes leadership and life skills for girls through athletics.

The auction includes weeklong stays at a 4,300-square-foot villa in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a rural village in France, and a four-bedroom retreat with jungle views on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast. Both have starting bids of $7,500.

Perhaps a rainforest lodge in Costa Rica is more your fancy. A four-night stay at the Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge includes meals each day, unlimited use of the kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and fishing equipment, and self-guided hikes throughout the 165-acre preserve. The bidding will begin at $2,800.

A weeklong stay at a six-bedroom house in the Rangeley Lakes region in Maine has an opening bid of $1,750. Situated right on a lake with a private dock, there is a beach area and use of a kayak and canoe.

For those without a place to stay in East Hampton Village, there is "a 2,500-square-foot village charmer," available for one week between Sept. 13 to Oct. 31. The website says, "If you time it right, you can even be here for the Hamptons International Film Festival in October." Bidding starts at $3,200. For a shorter stay in East Hampton, a three-night package at the Maidstone Inn is up for auction, starting at $1,900.

Those looking to escape the Hamptons summer crowds, can try for a one-bedroom Manhattan apartment, available for a week in July or August, with a starting point of $3,000.

There are also options to purchase auction items outright and skip the bidding.

I-Tri supports about 200 girls each year in schools from Springs all the way to the William Floyd School District. Girls and their families never pay anything to participate. The auction will help support the prgram this season.

The auction can be found on Accel Events, and there is also a link on the I-Tri homepage
