For Michael Semkus

A service has been planned for Michael Semkus, a Sag Harbor coach and substitute teacher who died on March 21.

Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. No other services have been announced.

Mr. Semkus, 28, of Bridgehampton, was a boys soccer coach and a substitute teacher in the Sag Harbor School District. He was a graduate of Pierson High School and participated in many community sporting events and races.

Southampton Town police said Wednesday that Mr. Semkus's death was due to a suspected drug overdose, but have not released further details.
