Lulu Specials 

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner for $29.95 Sunday through Thursday. The menu includes entrees such as pappardelle Bolognese and pizza margherita. Bottles of wine are 25 percent off on Wednesdays, and Montauk Pearl and Peconic Gold oysters are $1 each Monday through Thursday. 

 

Super Bowl Menu

Smokin’ Wolf in East Hampton has a special takeout menu for those holding a Super Bowl party at home. Food items include 24 bite-size sliders (either pork, chicken, or brisket) for $37, pigs in a blanket for $12 per dozen, a slab of ribs for $31, a 50-piece bucket of chicken wings for $68, and a jumbo shrimp cocktail platter for $75. For every $85 spent, a complimentary 12-pack of beer will be included. Orders must be placed in advance.

 

Bell and Anchor Specials

Bell and Anchor in Noyac has a series of dinner specials. A $30 two-course prix fixe dinner featuring entrees such as steak frites and lobster garganelli is available Sunday through Thursday (excluding Monday, when the restaurant is closed), and on Friday and Saturday until 6:15 p.m. (except on holiday weekends). For $5 more, dessert is included. Another two-course prix fixe dinner on Tuesdays features pork Milanese as the main dish, and one on Thursday features bouillabaisse. The price for each is $35. On Wednesdays, a lobster entree, such as butter-poached lobster claws and filet mignon for $45, comes with a complimentary appetizer. The restaurant also offers Montauk Pearl oysters for $1 each on Sunday evenings. 

 

Wine Class

Park Place Wines and Liquors in East Hampton will hold a tasting of Portuguese wines next Thursday at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31. Reservations are by calling the store. 

 

Beer and a Birthday

As a reminder, on Sunday, the Springs Tavern will celebrate Jackson Pollock’s birthday a day early with a three-course prix fixe dinner featuring dishes such as whiskey-soaked chicken and Jackson’s famous spaghetti. The cost is $40. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center. Reservations are recommended.

On Friday, Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett hosts the first in what is to be a monthly series of craft beer events, with $6 beer on tap and complimentary bar food from the tavern and Smokin’ Wolf BBQ at 9 p.m. There will be selections from the Montauk Brewing Company, the Maine Beer Company, and Grimm Artisanal Ales of Brooklyn, as well as live entertainment, and giveaways. The first 30 attendees get a goodie bag from the Montauk Brewing Company.
