Ruschmeyer’s has a new menu this year, a collaboration between Brian Loiacono, executive chef, and a team from the Smile restaurant in New York City. Montauk seafood and local produce will enhance the menu, along with wine from organic grapes grown by sustainable and biodynamic methods. There is an outdoor bar, picnic tables, and umbrellas, as well as fire pits and Ping-Pong tables. A new breakfast nook, inside near the backyard, is popular with families. There are 18 rooms in cabins arranged in a semi-circle up the hill from the restaurant. Like the dining room, most have views of Fort Pond.
