People go to Cyril's for margaritas or its famous B.B.C. (Banana Bailey's Colada). There is always someone at the bar, no matter what the hour. Although Cyril's has a singles-scene and gets so crowded in summer that people spill to the edge of the highway, it has an honest menu with plenty of choices and large portions.
Look for portobello ravioli in lemon beurre blanc, deep-fried shrimp, crusted red snapper, jerk chicken, and a rarity — Jamaican stewed oxtail. It's nice to sit outdoors if you're there early enough, and listen to reggae, soca, and blues. But the brightly painted dining room with softly buzzing neon sculptures is fun, too.
