Good ol’ Sam’s. Standing sentry over Newtown Lane since 1947, its neon light (the one and only allowed in East Hampton Village) beckons like an Edward Hopper painting. “Traditional Italian cuisine” says the menu. “Best thin-crust pizza in town,” sez me.
