With her term on the East Hampton Town Board soon to be behind her, Theresa Quigley has moved up in the world, well, at least to a “higher” place.
It was announced today that the real estate attorney has been named executive managing director and general counsel to Saunders and Associates, a real estate firm based in Bridgehampton whose tag line reads: “A higher form of realty.”
She will be leaving her post at the Water Mill offices of law firm Farrell-Fritz and will “work closely with Saunders’ agents in connection with structuring transactions, assisting in negotiating deals, and advising on real estate legal matters including zoning and permitting,” according to a press release.
Andrew Saunders, president of Saunders and Associates, is quoted as saying that he admires “her ability to create consensus in difficult negotiations.”
Ms. Quigley, a Republican, has been an outspoken and often volatile member of the East Hampton Town Board. Her single, four-year term ends on Dec. 31.
