Help With College Choices

High school students in the throes of their college searches and trying to narrow down their choices will find helpful advice from an expert on such matters on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the East Hampton Library.

Julie Raynor Gross, a college and career counselor, will lead a presentation for students and a college after the acceptances have been received will also be covered.

Ms. Gross is the founder and president of Collegiate Gateway, which helps clients with college, transfer, graduate, and professional school admissions and offers “personality and interest assessments” in addition to career planning. On April 17 at 3:30 p.m., she’ll be back at the library with a program just for students that will offer Myers-Briggs personality assessments. Priority will be given to high school sophomores and juniors.

Advance registration with the library is required.
