Rennert Vote Delayed
The Southampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals will not vote on whether to rescind or uphold the building permits issued to Ira Rennert for his Sagaponack compound, Fair Field, until Jan. 7, according to Edward Rush, the Z.B.A.'s chairman.

George Semerjian, a Southampton developer, told members of the Sagaponack Citizens Advisory Committee on Tuesday that he was interested in buying a 65-acre oceanfront tract next to Ira Rennert's property, but he dismissed rumors that he planned to create a private beach club there.
