Vanished Places
The first church in Bridgehampton was built about 1671 on Bridge Lane. It was 25 feet by 35 feet, with a thatched roof and a fireplace. The church was used until 1737, when a new one was built on the north side of Sagaponack Road east of Ocean Road.
