Three Drown As Boat Capsizes In Channel
Three members of an extended family, two of them children, drowned on Monday afternoon when their 21-foot fishing boat, anchored in the channel between the Cedar Point Lighthouse and Shelter Island's Mashomack Preserve, capsized.

A father, his daughter, and her cousin died in the accident, which occurred at about 2 p.m.
