|
WALKERS ON THE TRAIL Newcomers did not necessarily share the natives' appreciation for unimpeded access to the out-of-doors.
What's In A Name? ALEWIFE BROOK
Three Walkers Three Walker family siblings will talk next week about growing up in Wainscott during the Depression and World War II, in the third installment of the Autumn Project video history series.
SOCIETY NEAR 300 MARK The numbers of the 350th Society, whose members have contributed $350 to support the events marking East Hampton's tricentquinquagenary year, have grown to 292, its chairwoman, Carolyn Snyder, reported this week.
Hours Are Short Sales of 350th anniversary products have not been as brisk as they might, was the report this week from the volunteers at anniversary headquarters.

Quentin T. Snediker, the coordinator of the replica project in Mystic, will speak about the Amistad on Saturday afternoon as part of East Hampton Town's 350th anniversary lecture series.
THE TASTE OF HISTORY Strawberry season is special here, and always too short.
ANN ROBERTS: COOKIE LADY NO MORE "It is a tremendous pleasure to be involved with this, to say hello to this town again," said Ann Roberts, an East Hampton native, of her work with the town's tricentquinquagenary committee.
