Nature Notes It's been a full week, a very full week, and the one coming will be even fuller. The oaks, hickories, sassafras, and beech are busting out, the salt marshes and dunes are greening, birds are singing. Some are coming, some are going, a good many are staying. Weakfish Run Strong Surfcasters caught weakfish from Long Beach in Noyac during the week. Harvey Bennett of the Tackle Shop, now in Amagansett, said a weakfish showing was on time, as lilacs are blooming.
