Townline BBQ

The barbecue is authentic Texas, which makes it different than at other South Fork barbecue joints. Diners eat on wooden benches or on bar tops, and families and children like its casual style. You order at the counter, and someone will bring you your food. Townline smokes its own meats - brisket, chicken, pork, Texas link, and beef and pork ribs, and it serves two house-made sauces on the side along with baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, greens, French fries, corn bread, and pickles. The bar caters to those who want to watch sports on TV. Desserts include Southern specialties, such as icebox cake, fried cherry pie, and banana pudding. After June 27, Townline will make noon and 2 p.m. delivery runs to Main Beach in East Hampton Village; mimimum order $20 with credit card.
