Shippy's Pumpernickels Restaurant

Our reviewer said "Ya gotta love Shippy's." From its golf-course themed decor including old-style plaid carpeting, "it is a shrine to German food and all that that entails: bratwurst, weisswurst, knockwurst, tongue, liver, and lots of mashed potatoes."  Beef rouladen is a favorite of regulars and the potatoes take many guises--dumplings, fries, and salad--in addition to mashed. Prime rib specials on Sundays and traditional sandwiches at lunch are also popular.
