Estia’s Little Kitchen has been so popular that its owner, Colin Ambrose, has opened a branch in Darien, Conn. The menu has typical American dishes, but Mexican influences are strong. A number of breakfast dishes are based on flour tortillas. Dinner might start with crab tostadas or Mexican sweet corn soup, and the entree might be grilled fish tacos with Tequila sunrise salsa. A prix fixe is offered Friday through Sunday before 6:30 p.m. This fun and unpretentious place is very small, so reservations will help you get a table.
