On Saturday starting at 10 a.m., trails at the Amsterdam Beach Preserve in Montauk will be officially christened. Andy Gaites will lead a hike through this magnificent preserve. 379-4549. Guided hikes to see seals hauled out on their favorite rocks not far from the Montauk Lighthouse will set out on Saturday at 1 p.m. and again on Sunday starting at 2 p.m. from the Montauk Point State Park concession. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 7 to 18. Children under 7 go for free.

A full “fish moon” hike is planned for tomorrow starting at 7:30 p.m. in Bridgehampton. It was called the fish moon by Native Americans because it coincided with the annual shad run.
