The Hampton Jitney has been taking volunteers and supplies to the Rockaways to help in the clean-up of damage from Hurricane Sandy. A group left East Hampton Town Hall on Tuesday morning aboard one of the bus company's signature dark-green coaches. They were accompanied by a refrigerated box truck filled with food and supplies.
As it does every Election Day, the Jitney is providing free round-trips from Manhattan for voters to get to their East End polling places.
